The task was given as follows:
Create a set of packaging designs that communicates the mood, spirit and personality of a product.
The design had to be a metaphor of the product, be stackable, work by itself, and together as the set. Also, no photos could be used, but typography, abstract graphics , and patterns were encouraged.
I aimed to make the product feel as though each were individualized, based on the country that the coffee was harvested. Thus, I selected three saturated, energetic tones to be printed with each package. The country of origin is highlighted in the same color. Also, the word "coffee" is translated into the native language on the canvas pattern found on the front.
